get a good virus scanner it should protect you.

first of all you download the google pack and then install that then download the yahoo toolbars then it will save you u from pop up
use the yahoo anti-spy that yahoo has….those popups are in your registry and you can get them out by running the anti-spy…it will clean your registry

You may also be infected with a trojan, in which case download AVG (a free virus scanner) from http://free.grisoft.com/doc/2/lng/us/tpl/v5
All good suggestions above, but if you’re running Win2K or XP, I would also recommend Ewido (scan in safe mode)as well as Spybot S & D and Adaware. You’ve probably got some spyware lurking. Good luck.
