Hi

You can just delete the files that are quarantined.

Though I would recommend you use Superantispyware and Malwarebytes Antimalware. They both have free versions and offer much better protection than Adaware free.

1. Search for temp files( In search box type *.tmp) click search. Delete all files that appears after search.
2. Than as above type *.log & do the same.
3. Search Temp folder Delete all it’s content.
4. Search Temprory Internet Files & delete it’s content.
5. Run updated Antivirus & Anti spyware.
If it does noy work than download portable anti spyware and anti virus. Transfer them on a pen drive & scan your system from the stick. This will solve your problem.

Question by Curious: What is a good solid Anti-Virus, Spyware blocker, and firewall? I am willing to cough up money for it.?
I have a Windows XP E-machine. I need something that will remove virus/spyware that are already here and keep them out. Something really strong but is removeable from my computer at the same time just encase I don’t like it. Norton 360 from what I hear requires a seprate uninstall program or a computer tech to remove it. The program also needs to get along with cable internet. I had the problem before where it blocked cable internet and it told me to go online for help or pay to have a phone call.
